Domenic

"I'm sorry I followed you, Milady, but what choice did I have? They threw me out of the palace the second they learned you'd gone!"

Domenic is one of Lynia's two personal attendants, alongside Eillis. While Eillis handles more personal and intimate duties, Domenic insists to be allowed to carry out everything else, especially messenger duties. He also unintentionally serves as Lynia's main confidant.

Profile

When Lynia turned 14, she asked her father to let her tour Lower Caynea. While walking the streets, she met a boy of about her age. While the ever present royal guard were quick to shove him aside, Lynia asked to speak to him. He introduced himself as Domenic, and was all too happy to talk to the Princess about how life worked in the lower city. In exchange for the lengthy conversation, Lynia offered to show Domenic the life of a royal.

Domenic didn't have much of a life; no record exists of him prior to his meeting the Princess, and he is not aware of his parents, having lived on the streets and in numerous groups of vagrants for most of his childhood. Lynia's decision to appoint him as a royal servant - albeit without wages, just food and a room - is still questioned by palace staff. Only two people in the palace ever bother to acknowledge Domenic's presence: Lynia, and her other attendant, Eillis. The rest of the palace staff are keen to ignore him, actively avoiding him much of the time.

Weapon

Domenic, being effectively an amateur to the ways of combat, wields a Caynean khopesh and a buckler. He is not exceptionally strong or fast, but winds up with a very high aptitude to his Luck stat, granting him better critical hits and lucky dodges.
