Profile

Sylviss Denivan is the wife of Lestalian Margrave Calayus Denivan, and Marchioness of Lestalia. She holds the rare distinction of being a pureblooded human born in Lestalia. As Marchioness, Sylviss strives to improve the quality of life of the peasants by providing special care for mining crews. She is very friendly and loving, easily trusting of others, and will dedicate herself to helping the people she meets. Her policy is that love can solve all problems. By the insistence of her husband, Sylviss learns to defend herself with a fleuret, which becomes useful sooner than expected when Lestalia must break a siege by Caynea's unusually strong forces. During the siege, both Sylviss and her husband join Lynia's rebellion.

Mechanics

In combat, Sylviss wields a fleuret, a special type of rapier that is especially lightweight and well-suited to piercing attacks. She is not very strong, having a very low attack and defense ratings, but her movement range is the longest of any non-mounted unit.

Skills

• Medical Care Service - Can instantly evacuate a KO'd unit within three spaces.
• Quick Cut - Will always counter-attack when an enemy attack misses Sylviss (for 75% normal damage), even if Defend is selected. (If Counter is selected, Quick Cut is followed by normal counter-attack.)
• Light Traveler - Exceptional movement speed with no penalties over rough terrain.
